Welcome to the beta version of the Training
Home Page. From here and throughout
the site you will be able to navigate to training topics using the menu at the top
of the screen. You can always return to this page by clicking the "Home" link at
the left of the menu bar.
As you use the site, you will see examples of demonstrations using Flash animations.
Some will start automatically, others will take you through procedures step by step
and require that the animation is clicked at each step to start or continue. The
animations that require to be clicked will be clearly marked.
The Flash Animation Control is shown below. The third button toggles between "Pause"
and "Continue" as illustrated here. The fourth button stops the demonstration, which
can then be resumed from the start. To go to any point in the demonstation quickly,
click and drag the slider to the left to backtrack or to the right to go forwards.
To use this site to best advantage, you will need an XGA (1024x768) monitor and
sound - a cheap pair of headphones will do - you will also need a broadband connection.
At first the number of topics covered will be small, but will increase in response
to questions from users.
